Open Medicine Foundation (OMF) is committed to bridging research and clinical practice, empowering clinicians and bringing renewed hope to millions of patients worldwide.
We recently launched an expert-led channel on VuMedi, a global education platform for healthcare professionals. The channel features videos and research-informed content on ME/CFS, Long COVID, and related conditions, helping clinicians strengthen their understanding and provide evidence-informed care.
VuMedi is free for licensed healthcare professionals and designed to support lifelong learning across specialties. Access to OMF’s VuMedi channel is limited to healthcare providers. Anyone without a medical license can visit vumedi.com to learn more about the platform, and we encourage everyone to share OMF’s VuMedi channel with their healthcare professionals.
The Open Medicine Foundation (OMF)-supported Medical Education Resource Center (MERC) at the Bateman Horne Center (BHC) expanded its reach and impact, reinforcing its role as a global leader in ME/CFS and Long COVID medical education.
In 2025, MERC published and released the first Clinical Care Guide for ME/CFS, Long COVID, and related conditions.
The Clinical Care Guide is one highlight of MERC’s 2025 work. See the full report to learn more about MERC’s impact.
We look forward to continuing to advance medical education in 2026 and beyond, supporting clinicians and improving care for patients worldwide.
